Are you Experiencing a Blue Screen?

The blue screen of death is a reference to when a computer flashes a blue screen and then shuts downs without warning.  It has become a problem with Windows systems over the past few years as the causes of the blue screen shutdown, or “ blue screen of death “ has multiplied thanks to the complexity of the computers we use and the demands we place on the them

The term “ Blue Screen of Death “ refers to the blue screen that flashes just before your computer dies and reboots itself.  In most cases, absolutely no warning is given, and any unsaved information you are working on is lost.

The Blue Screen of Death is caused when Windows encounters a critical system error and shuts itself down to prevent damage to your computer.  So although incredibly frustrating, is really a good thing that  prevents your computer from being damaged beyond repair.

When a blue screen happens, it is the because somewhere in your computer, something has performed an illegal operation.   In technical terms, it is called a Stop Error. The other potential cause of a Blue Screen problem is a fault with specific hardware such as a power supply malfunctioning, a component over heating or a conflicting interaction between a slave drive and your primary hard drive.
